For information regarding eligible schools in these areas, please contact ASHRAE headquarters.

If there are no eligible applicants in Region IV, the scholarship will be open to any full-time undergraduate engineering student who meets the Society's criteria for an Undergraduate Engineering Scholarship.

Application Process and Guidelines

To be considered, applications and the following documents must be submitted by the application deadline:

  1. An official transcript of grades. This must be mailed, sent through an online electronic transfer service, or directly from your registrar’s office on your behalf. Photocopies will not be accepted.
  2. Three signed letters of recommendation: one from an instructor or faculty advisor, one from a current or past employer, and another character reference (not a family member). If the institution has an ASHRAE student branch on campus, a letter from the faculty advisor of that branch may be included as one of the three letters of recommendation.
