Cincinnatus Scholarship Program
Scholarship Sponsored by University of Cincinnati
The University of Cincinnati's flagship scholarship program, Cincinnatus, offers over $22 million in renewable scholarships to the most talented and promising first-year students across all fields of study.
For consideration for this prestigious award, prospective first-year students must submit a fully completed application along with all necessary supporting documents by December 1 of their final year in high school.
Presidential
Each year, 20 Presidential Scholarships, each worth $120,000, are granted to students who demonstrate exceptional academic prowess. This amount, estimated at $30,000 per year, covers the full cost of tuition, fees, accommodation, meals, and a book allowance.
Century and University
A multitude of Century and University Scholarships, ranging from $6,000 to $24,000 ($1,500 to $6,000 per year), are also awarded annually to academically outstanding students.
Additional Information
- An additional $3,000 Cincinnatus Out-of-State Scholarship is provided to award recipients who are not eligible for the Indiana Metro Rate or Reciprocity, Kentucky Metro Rate or Reciprocity, or the National Outreach Scholarship award.
- All Cincinnatus scholarships are renewable for the duration of the undergraduate program, provided the student maintains a GPA of 3.0 and fulfills the annual 30-hour community service obligation.
Award Determinations
- Eligible students will be selected based on their overall admission application
- The determination of award amounts will be based on the eligible students for each academic program
- Notifications regarding awards and related details will commence in February and continue until the final awards are announced in mid-March
A complete first-year application comprises:
- The Common Application
- A non-refundable application fee of $50 (or fee waiver)
- Official High School Transcript
- Official ACT or SAT test scores (optional)
- Letter of Recommendation (optional)
