Nutmeg Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by University of Connecticut
The Nutmeg Scholarship is a prestigious award that recognizes the outstanding achievements of Connecticut high school seniors. To be considered, candidates must exhibit superior academic prowess, have a record of significant contributions to their school and community, and embody the characteristics of a responsible citizen and leader.
Given the competitive nature of the selection process and the high volume of applications received, not all applicants will be awarded a scholarship. Candidates may be considered for the Nutmeg Scholarship, Stamps Scholarship, or Day of Pride Scholarship, but not for all three simultaneously.
For those applying under the Early Decision scheme, please note that Nutmeg Scholarship recipients will not be informed of their award status at the time of admission. The selection for the Nutmeg Scholarship will be finalized in early February.
