Michigan Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship
Scholarship Sponsored by Gordon & Donor
The Michigan Auto Law Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship is a yearly financial aid opportunity provided by our legal team to college students who have suffered injuries from car accidents in their past and have shown remarkable resilience in overcoming their injuries to pursue higher education.
Every year, we award a $1,000 scholarship to one deserving recipient. The application deadline is December 31st.
Our Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship is a tribute to those who have suffered injuries in car accidents and have shown remarkable courage and determination in their recovery process while continuing their education. We have been privileged to witness incredible stories of human resilience. These individuals have already accomplished so much, and we are eager to see what they will achieve in the future.
We also hope that by acknowledging the achievements of young people who have overcome significant challenges, we can inspire and provide hope to others who are currently navigating a difficult recovery process after a car accident.
This scholarship holds a special place in our hearts. As attorneys specializing in auto accidents, we wanted to establish a scholarship based on our experiences assisting innocent victims of car crashes. A car accident can drastically change a person's life. Often, the initial injury is exacerbated by the subsequent mistreatment by insurance companies, either by denying benefits or cutting off essential No-Fault benefits like wage loss or medical treatment.
This year, we are proud to announce Aleena Palumbo, a master’s student at Utah State University, as the recipient of our 2025 Michigan Auto Law Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship.
Congratulations, Aleena. Your resilience and strong character are commendable. We are thankful for your willingness to share your inspiring journey with us and countless others. Your story brings hope to many.

Understanding the Michigan Auto Law Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship
As legal professionals, we recognize the challenges of recovering from a severe car accident injury, especially for young individuals in their prime.
To acknowledge their struggles and celebrate their heroic efforts and hard work, Michigan Auto Law presents its annual Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship to college students who were innocent victims of car accidents and have triumphed over their injuries to pursue an education.
Our legal team has been assisting innocent victims of auto accidents for over 50 years, and we want to extend our support to those who have survived severe crashes and are showing determination and resolve to rebuild their lives.
Our Car Accident Injury Survivor Scholarship serves as a crucial reminder that each person injured in an auto accident is an individual, not just a number or a claim. Today, the insurance industry often dehumanizes people by assigning a dollar value to a case using injury claims software. When personal injuries and pain and suffering are given an average or median dollar settlement value based on a geographic area by a computer program, we lose sight of the profound impact a life-altering car accident can have on an individual's life.
