FRS Scholarships
Scholarship Sponsored by Foundation For Rural Service
Introduction
Since 1994, the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) has supported people and communities in rural areas served by members of NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association. FRS believes the wellbeing and future of rural places are closely tied to the vitality of the nation.
Program overview
Each year FRS provides scholarships to rural students entering their first year of a 2‑year or 4‑year college program or vocational/technical school. Applicants must be sponsored by an NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association member company to be considered. One application automatically enters a student for all FRS scholarships. Since its founding, FRS has awarded more than $1 million in scholarship funds to help rural students gain skills and experience to benefit their communities.

Scholarship awards range from $500 to $9,000, with exact amounts determined by program criteria.
