Martin County Fair Scholarships

Since 1985, the Martin County Fair Association, Inc. has been consistently offering scholarships to high school students in Martin County. This initiative has enabled numerous students to pursue their higher education dreams after high school.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP
The scholarship is available to all Martin County high school seniors, given that:
- The student has been involved in at least two prior Martin County Fairs. Involvement can be through school, scout, church exhibits, talent shows, police cadets, firefighter explorers, 4-H, FFA, Miss Martin County Fair Pageant, arts & crafts, volunteering, or any other documented fair participation.
- The student has resided in Martin County for a minimum of two full years before their graduation in June.
- The student submits a 200-word essay related to the annual fair. MCFA Scholarship Rubric
- The student provides the financial information required on the application form.
- The student maintains a grade point average of 2.0 or higher.
- The student provides a headshot photo of at least 4 x 6 inches.
APPLICATION PROCESS FOR THE SCHOLARSHIP
The Martin County Fair Scholarship Application Form must be completed online via the Scholarship page on the Martin County Fair Website. Handwritten applications will not be accepted. ONLY ONLINE APPLICATIONS WILL BE CONSIDERED.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD CEREMONY
The scholarship recipients will be announced at the Miss Martin County Fair Pageant in January 2025. Attendees are expected to dress in business attire for the event, as photographs will be taken.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR SCHOLARSHIP DISBURSEMENT
Instructions will be provided in a letter at the awards ceremony. To receive the scholarship, proof of enrollment at your higher education institution must be emailed to the fair office at scholarship@martincountyfair.com.
Alternatively, you can mail your information to: Martin County Fair Association, Inc. ATTN: Scholarship Committee, 2616 SE Dixie Hwy., Stuart, FL 34996. The scholarship funds will be sent directly to the institution as per the Committee's instructions. The scholarship must be claimed within one year of the award. Please note: This is a one-time, non-renewable award.
